World’s Best Iced Coffee Protein Powder Latte

World's Best Iced Coffee Protein Powder Latte

This gluten free girlfriend has been trying to get buff over the last few months. I have a lot of work to do and it is certainly an ongoing process. I have been eating a pretty high protein diet and supplementing it with protein shakes for muscle building. I don’t want to look like a bodybuilder  I am just aiming for not looking like a bowl of jello in a bikini. I have tried many flavors of protein powder many tasting awful. I have found that the Dymatize Elite Gourmet series is my favorite flavor wise. I really love the milk chocolate and that is what I buy most often.

I was getting bored of just mixing my protein powder with water and decided to experiment a bit. I tried protien powder hot chocolate in the microwave and ended up with a disgusting mess all over. I don’t know if that was due to the flavor I used (chocolate brownie) or if it just will never turn out. If it does I will post a recipe soon.

Today I was pouring my coffee and wondered if I could get my protein at the same time. I added my scoop of Dymatize Elite Gourmet Milk Chocolate protein powder to hot coffee and iced it down. It was amazing. It tasted like those starbucks lattes in a bottle but without all of the yucko additives. I texted my Alan and told him of my success  He was the one with the genius idea to post it as a recipe for you all to try. This is so simple and so delicious I may never go back to plain protein and water ever again. What are some of your creative uses for protein powder? Leave an answer in the comments section.
