Healthy Chocolate Brownie “Oatmeal” Sinfully Paleo, Gluten Free, and Low Carb

Healthy Chocolate Brownie "Oatmeal" Sinfully Paleo, Gluten Free, and Low Carb

I have been eating this paleo oatmeal everyday for months. It is that fantastic. I usually get  bored with the same breakfast day in and day out but this is so rich and fudgy it will never get old. This gluten free paleo oatmeal reminds me of eating  warm brownie batter- minus the guilt!  A whole large bowl has only 145 calories! The fiber and protein keep me full for much longer than similar hot breakfast options and the chocolate first thing in the morning kills my cravings for the rest of the day. Did I mention that this takes less than a minute to prep and 3 minutes in the microwave? This is the quickest hot breakfast I have ever eaten. I can pop it in the microwave and walk away. I don’t have to worry about watching it like traditional oatmeal that will explode all over the place and turn to cement as soon as I look away for mere seconds. Since this recipe relies on coconut flour it is grain free, low carb, paleo, gluten free, and incredibly healthy. Stevia keeps it sugar free and low glycemic as well. 1. Mix coconut flour, cocoa powder and stevia in a cereal bowl.

  4. Cool and Enjoy.

I often find myself choking when eating coconut flour in baking recipes, especially when I put too much in ratio to other flours I use. Are you certain eating coconut flour like this won’t taste..chokey?

I used 2-3 tbsp honey instead of stevia and the taste was good! I did feel like it was too gritty so after a few bites I mixed an egg in and put it back in the microwave for 3 mins! It’s much easier to eat now!

It has coconut texture for sure but it does surprisingly taste like brownie. I used a tbsp of 100% pure maple syrup to sweeten.

I only calculate about 100 calories. Can you please share how you got 145? Thanks!
